Hi there! My name is Sarah Carlson and welcome to my personal and professional webpage. I am currently a first grade teacher at Cameron Elementary  which is located in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is such a wonderful place to live, work, and play. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, kayaking, and working out at my local cross-fit gym. I am recently engaged as of September, 2020 and plan to tie the knot in July of 2022. 

 

I have been teaching first grade for 6 years. During this time, I have learned so much about myself and how students successfully learn. I pride myself on creating learning environments that are structured and engaging for my students. 

 

I recently completed a Masters in Arts and Educational Technology at Michigan State University. I have a passion to use and explore technology inside educational settings. I have had the opportunity to conduct professional developments for my fellow educators on the usage of technology in the classroom. Teaching educators how to become confident while implementing technology has now encouraged me to pursue careers that will challenge me and allow me to grow as an educator.
